    • Dave, about 300 plus their families. But they are all cured, despite of the desformations on hands and feet. As soon as treatment starts they are not infectuous anymore. But of course, they will stay handicapped all their lifes. And due to thumb arms and legs they get wounds or Ulcer and many of them have to amputate their legs later on. There is still a lot of stigmatisation going on, many patients cannot go back to their home villages, because people there reject them. In Leprosy colonies the life for them is more peaceful and no one discriminates them.
